Glazkov wants to use Adamek as a springboard to the heavyweight elite

Unbeaten heavyweight Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov (15-0-1, 11 KOs) is thrilled with the opportunity to take on former light heavyweight and cruiserweight world champion Tomasz Adamek in a voluntary eliminator fight for the IBF #2 position. “I have already been training hard. I had a very good camp boxing with Klitschko, as I helped him prepare for his fight with Povetkin,” stated Glazkov, a 2008 Olympic bronze medalist from Ukraine who has has previously stopped Tor Hamer and fought to a controversial draw with Malik Scott in nationally televised fights.

“Now I will come to the United States to continue my training,” Glazkov continued. “Adamek is a very good fighter with a big name. He is big and strong and comes forward during the fight, this is good for me. I think I can win this fight. It will help put my name on the list of the best heavyweight fighters.”
The fight takes place November 16th at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY.
