Bradley Pryce replaces Vitu to face Rabchencko Bulgaria

Former Commonwealth light middleweight championBradley Pryce(34-14) has stepped in to face European championSergey Rabchenko (24-0) in Bulgaria next week after original opponent, France-based Cedric Vitu (36-2), has withdrawn with an injured wrist.
Vitu, the mandatory challenger for Rabchenko’s European title, lost on points to the Belarusian last year in Manchester on the undercard of Ricky Hatton’s unsuccessful comeback against Vyacheslav Senchenko. Welshman Pryce has also faced Rabchenko before, losing on points over twelve rounds back in 2011.
Hatton Promotions international matchmaker Philipe Fondu said: "Rabchenko has beaten Pryce before but he cannot afford to think this will be easy. Pryce is coming from Wales to grab the titles and put his name back among the best in the division."

At the WBC's annual convention in Bangkok last week, it was confirmed that Rabchenko is now the sanctioning body's number one contender, ahead of Saul Alvarez and Miguel Cotto. Current holder Floyd Mayweather Jnr has until December 15 to decide whether he will defend the belt or give it up. Hatton Promotions expects that Rabchenko will fight for the vacant world title in 2014.
The Bulgarian bill also features Hatton Promotions’ prospects Adam Etches,Scott JenkinsSonny Upton and Ryan Burnett.
