Christodoulou to ref 200th world title fight

Hall of Fame referee Stanley Christodoulou will work world title fight number 200 this Saturday in Panama City. 



Christodoulou will be the third man for the WBA bantamweight clash between local world champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno and Colombian challenger William Urina. 

He reffed his first world title fight on March 11, 1973 and in the four decades since has worked many memorable fights such as Hearns-Cuevas, Pryor-Arguello, Hagler-Duran, and this year’s Jones-Lebedev clash. 

He is also a member of the WBA Board will meet for two days at the Westin Playa Bonita in that city.
