South African veteran referee Stanley Christodoulou will be the 3rd man in the ring for the Super 4 final between Denis Grachev and Edwin Rodriguez. Christodoulou was last seen handling the Lebedev – Jones fight. Lebedev suffered facial dammage and was hospitalized for over a week.Judges will be Massimo Montanini (Italy), Jean-François Toupin (France) and Massimo Barrovecchio (Italy). The local commission headed by Armand Forcherio willl supervise this important 10 round non-title bout.
The WBC appointed Belgian Daniel Van de Wiele to referee Dmytro Kucher against Ilunga Makabu. The fight is for the WBC Silver title. The winner will probably have to face Silvio Branco as part of a 4 men WBC cruiserweight tournament to appoint the next official challenger after Wlodarczyck-Fragomeni. The judges for this fight will be Robin Dolpierre (France), Predrag Aleksic (Montenegro) and Joseph Chaane (South Africa). Supervisor will be the EBU General Secretary Enza Jacoponi from Italy.
For the European title fight between Maxim Bursak (Ukraine) and Prince Arron (GB) the EBU appointed Robin Dolpierre (France) as referee and Daniel Van de Wiele (Belgium), Massimo Montanini (Italy), Predrag Aleksic (Montenegro) as judges. Antonio Martin Galan from Spain will be the supervisor.
