Lara-Trout on Mayweather-Alvarez undercard?

A source has told Fightnews.com that there is a possibility WBA interim super welterweight world champion Erislandy Lara (18-1-2, 12 KOs) will defend against former WBA super welterweight titleholder Austin Trout (26-1 , 14 KOs) on September 14 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on the night of the mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. Lara overcame Alfredo Angulo for the interim belt in June, while Trout lost his title to “Canelo” Alvarez in San Antonio in April.
