Terence Crawford vs Yuriorkis Gamboa for Cotto undercard?

Top Rank wants to match Terence Crawford with Yuriorkis Gamboa on October 5, but aren't sure if Gamboa will want the fight.
Bob Arum says he wants to match rising lightweight prospect Terence Crawford against Yuriorkis Gamboa on October 5, when Crawford will return on Miguel Cotto's HBO undercard, but isn't sure if the Cuban and former Top Rank fighter will want to do it.
Arum says that promoter Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is interested, however, giving at least a little hope that it's a fight that can be made. Crawford is 2-0 on HBO this year, with solid wins over Breidis Prescott and Alejandro Sanabria, giving Max Kellerman somewhere around 26 commentary orgasms in the process. Gamboa beat Darleys Perez on June 8 in Montreal, but wasn't terribly impressive in his move up to 135. It did net him the interim WBA title, though.
If this fight can be made, it's a really good test for both, as Gamboa is basically trying to reestablish himself as a top talent, while Crawford is trying to prove he's an elite young fighter with a big-time future.
Do you think this one will get made, and either way, who would you pick to win?
